The March meeting of the Golden Gate Society For Coatings Technology will be held at the Buttercup Grill at 1000 Cotton Street , Oakland, Ca.94606.
The speaker will be Warren Pushaw President of Micro Powders and the topic of his talk will be "The Use of Micronized Waxes in Printing Inks, Paints and Coatings".
The talk will start at 5pm with the dinner following. Dinner reservations should be made with Debbie Callen of E.T. Horn
by noon 3-12-2010.
The January meeting for the Golden Gate Society For Coatings Technology will be held at Hs Lordships, 199 Seawall Dr. Berkeley, Ca 94710 (510) 843-2733 on January 18,2010. The time is 5PM with the technical talk before and the dinner afterward.
Josh Mathes , Technical Service Chemist of Southern Clay Products, will present a talk entitled "Methods for developing pseudoplastic behavior with associative thickeners".
The cost for the dinner is $30 with a no host bar before dinner.

The holiday luncheon for the Golden Gate Society will be at the Wedgewood Banquet Center at the Metropolitan Golf Links 10051 Doolittle Drive, Oakland, Ca. 94603.
The luncheon will begin at 11:30 am on December the 4th.
The price of $50 per person includes, appetizers, salad, duet plate of filet mignon and chicken marsala with all the trimmings. It includes a dessert buffet and wine will be served with lunch.
Pianist Linda Wiggins will play during the lunch.
